| Details | Issue: On a small number of vehicles, the brake booster input rod may not be properly tightened. As a result, the input rod could detach from the brake booster and cause a loss of brakes. Safety Risk: A loss of braking can increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Volkswagen will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to tighten the screw on the brake booster input rod. |
