| Details | Issue: On certain vehicles, the radar sensor for the pre-collision system (PCS) may not work properly. As a result, the pre-collision system can't detect when there is another vehicle in front of your vehicle. This means that the collision warnings and braking assist will not work to help avoid a crash. Safety Risk: A pre-collision system that does not work properly could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Toyota will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to inspect the radar sensor and re-initialize it, if necessary. |
