| Details | Issue: On certain vehicles, foam spacers may be missing in the front passenger seat. As a result, the passenger sensing system may not work properly. This could cause the airbag system not to turn off the airbag when small person or child seat is in the front passenger seat. Note: This recall only affects vehicles equipped with ventilated front seats. Safety Risk: A front passenger airbag that deploys in front of a small person or child seat can increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the passenger sensing system. |
