| Details | Issue: On certain vehicles, an oil channel in the engine camshaft carrier wasn't drilled correctly. As a result, a buildup of oil pressure could cause an oil leak. Safety Risk: An engine oil leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Jaguar will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the camshaft carrier and replace it, if necessary. The dealer will also replace the catalytic converter, gasoline particulate filter (GPF) and exhaust oxygen sensors, as necessary. |
