| Details | Issue: On certain trucks, a problem with the instrument panel cover may cause the passenger-front airbag not to inflate properly in a crash. Note: This recall only affects F-150 Platinum and Limited trim models. Safety Risk: The passenger-front airbag may not open and inflate properly in a crash, which could create an increased risk of injury. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the right-hand instrument panel cover. |
