| Details | Issue: On certain vehicles, the seat belt reminder chime may not sound to alert you that the front passenger seat belt isn't buckled. Canadian regulations require both a seat belt reminder sound and visual tell-tale when you switch the vehicle on, and the passenger isn't wearing their seat belt. Safety Risk: A seat belt warning that doesn't work correctly may not remind you to ensure that your passenger is buckled. Not wearing a seat belt can increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Porsche will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to reprogram the instrument cluster software. |
