| Details | Issue: A small number of trucks may be missing an impact sensor in the B-pillar. As a result, the airbag system may not work properly in a side-impact crash. Note: This problem would cause the airbag warning light to stay on, a warning chime to sound, and an error message to appear on the instrument panel indicating that the airbag system needs to be serviced. Safety Risk: An airbag system that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, install the missing B-pillar impact sensors. |
