| Details | Issue: On certain vehicles, damage inside the antilock brake system (ABS) hydraulic control unit (HCU) could cause an increase in brake pedal travel and reduced braking. Safety Risk: Reduced braking can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mazda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the brake ABS HCU, and replace it if necessary. |
