| Details | Issue: On certain vehicles equipped with a manual transmission, a problem with the gear sensor (AGS) could cause the rearview camera not to work and the backup lamps not to turn on when backing up. Safety Risk: A rearview camera image that doesn't display could reduce a driver's ability to see behind the vehicle while backing up. Additionally, backup lamps that don't turn on could cause a person not to recognize that the vehicle is backing. Both issues could increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the all gear sensor (AGS). |
