| Details | Issue: On certain vehicles, in the event of a crash, the 12 V battery cable(s) could contact the engine control module bracket. If this happens, there could be a short circuit. Safety Risk: A short circuit could create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Hyundai will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to install a protective cover on the 12 V battery and alternator positive wiring. |
