Issue: On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the brake wear warning light not to turn on when the brake pads require replacement.

Canadian regulations require the warning indicator to stay on when the brakes are worn.

Safety Risk: Driving a vehicle with worn out brakes could increase the risk of a crash.

Corrective Actions: Jaguar will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the vehicle software.
