| Details | Issue: On certain electric vehicles, a software problem could cause the brake booster failsafe mode not to work properly. As a result, there could be a sudden increase in brake pedal force, if a fault is detected. Safety Risk: A sudden increase in brake pedal force can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the electronic stability control unit software. |
