| Details | Issue: On certain vehicles, the clutch pressure line may not be properly secured to the firewall. As a result, the line could contact hot exhaust components and melt. If this happens, fluid could leak and you would not be able to change gears. Safety Risk: An inability to change gears could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, oil that leaks onto hot components can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a Ford dealership to inspect and, if necessary, replace the clutch pressure line. The dealer will also secure the line to the firewall, as necessary. |
