| Details | Issue: On certain trucks, a problem with the output shaft speed sensor could cause the transmission to downshift suddenly to first gear. If this happens, there could be a loss of control. Note: This recall is an expansion of Ford recall nos. 19S07 (Transport Canada recall no. 2019-065) and 19S19 (Transport Canada recall no. 2019-282). Safety Risk: A loss of control could create the risk of a crash. Corrective Actions: Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to update the powertrain control module software. |
