| Details | Issue: On certain vehicles, the lock ring that secures the fuel pump to the fuel tank may not have been locked properly. As a result, the lock ring could loosen and create a fuel leak. Safety Risk: A fuel leak can create the risk of a fire. Corrective Actions: General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, if necessary, lock the fuel tank lock ring. |
