| Details | Issue: On certain vehicles, if the ignition switch is left in the "ON" position for too long, it could drain the battery. As a result, when the battery is recharged, and the vehicle is restarted, the airbag warning light will turn on and the airbags won't work in a crash. Safety Risk: Airbags that don't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash. Corrective Actions: Mazda will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, as necessary, update the vehicle software or replace the airbag sensor unit. |
