Test Drive: 2015 Buick Regal (05:07)

Published on May 16, 2015 in Video Reviews by Graeme Fletcher

The Buick brand has long been synonymous with, shall we say, an older demographic.

Its reputation for a cushy ride and armchair-like seating had a whole lot to do with that.

As the brand evolves, however, the folks at GM decided to shift gears and target a slightly younger, more performance-oriented audience with its Buick Regal sedan.

The 2015 Regal’s 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine goes a long way in helping the cause, with its 259-horsepower and 295 lb.ft. of torque providing plenty of pep while maintaining the creature comforts people have come to expect from Buick.

Add the optional all-wheel drive system, as Graeme Fletcher highly recommends, and the Regal becomes a very attractive option.

This segment originally appeared on Episode 5 of Motoring 2015.
