Review: 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon (06:57)

When General Motors, Ford and Chrysler jumped ship on the midsize pickup segment a few short years ago, they left Nissan and Toyota to fight over nearly 300,000 annual sales.

It didn't take the folks at GM long to see the error in their ways, however.

The result?

The 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon, twin midsize trucks the company resurrected after a three-year hiatus.

Brad Diamond was in southern California for the relaunch of the Colorado and Canyon, where he learned what brought the General back for round two.
