Mercedes' fully-autonomous F 015 is the future (01:31)

Graeme Fletcher was recently in California to have a go in the new Mercedes-Benz F 015 Luxury in Motion research car, a fully-autonomous vehicle the brand says is the future of mobility.

Mercedes claims the F 015's electric hybrid powertrain system gives the car a total driving range of 1,100 kilometres—200 kilometres of battery-powered driving, and around 900 kilometres on the electricity from the fuel cell.

Coupled with its luxurious interior that features touchscreens and plenty of legroom, and the F 015 maybe provide the best glimpse yet at what the future of driving looks like.
