Test Drive: 2015 BMW M235i (04:43)

The new BMW 2 Series M isn't listed like an M4, but it's cast from the same mold.

Building on the 2 Series platform that replaces the 1 Series in BMW's lineup, the M235i adds a 3.0-litre turbocharged inline six-cylinder that makes 322 horsepower and 332 lb.-ft. of torque.

With its deft handling and looks to match, the M235i may not be a full-on M car, but it does a great job bridging the gap.
