Review: 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLC-Class (06:33)

With crossover sales booming, it seems every automaker under the sun is releasing new or refreshed models in a bid to get in on the action.

Mercedes-Benz is no different, releasing a successor to the popular GLK-Class—with a twist: It's now called the GLC-Class.

New naming convention aside, the 2016 GLC-Class gets a more streamlined look that the automaker hopes will resonate with more buyers.

The Motoring TV team was in the wine country just outside Atlanta to take a closer look at the latest midsize crossover from Mercedes.
