The Probe,a joint venture with Mazda,was supposed to be the next Mustang, it wasn't.
Mustang fans were not exactly thrilled with the idea of a front-wheel drive pony car on a Mazda platform without a V8.
The Probe met its demise in 1998 and the Mustang survived.
