Chevrolet used the Texas State Fair to unveil its Silverado Volunteer Firefighter and Black Ops concepts, which will strut their stuff at the SEMA Show, which opens November 5.

The Volunteer Firefighter Silverado Concept

As its name suggests, it is a fire truck equipped with a red and white paintjob and emergency lights. Added to this are added the inevitable siren and all the necessary equipment to fight fires.

Entirely black, the truck is designed for members of the military who come to the aid of victims in natural disasters.

To do this, it will carry everything you need to help people in distress, including a generator, gas cans, gas masks and food. The matte black truck is also equipped with a winch.

The trucks are powered by a 5.3-liter V8 engine making 360 horsepower, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
