Standard Suspension at the 2013 SEMA Show

Published on November 7, 2013 in SEMA by Danny Geraghty

As with most companies in the industry, Standard Suspension makes the trip to SEMA each year to promote their racing products.

The company focuses on the manufacture and sale of complete high performance suspension systems and big brake kits. They currently sell to a number of countries including Canada, the U.S., Germany, UK, France, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and Belgium.

Last year when they booked, SEMA was already full and there was no space to show any vehicles. According to one of their representatives working at the booth, that approach made it tough to stand out among the hundreds of other booths. This year SEMA was able to accord them the space required and their booth was quite impressive, showcasing two gorgeous cars: a Nissan GT-R and BMW M3. These two race machines helped draw massive amounts of attention. SEMA also placed them right at the entrance to the Central Hall next to other big-name competitors such as H&R.

Standard Suspension sponsors many vehicles in various racing series. Their products are regularly used in the DMCC series here in Quebec.

Correction: An earlier version of this article stated that Standard was Quebec-based which was incorrect. Quebec is the location of only one of their offices. We regret the error.
