Here is a very realistic rendering of the future Porsche 911 Targa by X-Tomi Design which will takes the style of the legendary sports car that appeared for the first time in 1967.

It follows that the car will be equipped with a retractable hardtop & rollbar, as was the case with the original Porsche 911 Targa. In 1995 the Targa received a large panoramic glass roof that slid electrically and in line with the rear window.

X-Tomi Design

X-Tomi Design is a company specializing in the design of both speculative and quite realistic vehicle models being developed by different manufacturers.

To do this, designers base their work primarily on spy photos and available information on the web to create their often very accurate renderings of production models to come.

In Detroit or Geneva

We waited for a possible unveil at the Frankfurt Auto Show in in September, and we knew that the Porsche 911 Targa would skip Los Angeles because all the attention was directed to the new Macan.

Some believe that the Porsche 911 Targa will finally be unveiled next month in Detroit, while others remain confident that it will be in March in Geneva.
