Mercedes-AMG Takes The Lead For The Super Bowl

For sports enthusiasts, the Super Bowl is a major event that will crown a champion at the end of the NFL season. This year, the Patriots and the Seahawks are fighting for the honour of bringing home the Vince Lombardi trophy.

If you don’t like football, you still might want to watch two important parts of the big game: the half-time show and the commercials, which are almost always created specifically for the occasion. With prices that can go as high as $4.5 million for 30 seconds, only the biggest brands will take the risk of producing a spot.

We have already seen a few ads: BMW (with a presentation of the i3), Kia (starring Pierce Brosnan) and Lexus (which combines contemporary art and its Lexus NX), but none of them have truly impressed us.

Mercedes-AMG just unveiled their TV spot, which you can watch here. In it, you can see a modern take on the classic Tortoise and the Hare story. Instead of relying on its steadiness, the tortoise takes delivery of an AMG GT to steal the win (and the rabbit’s girlfriend!).
