The Cadillac CT6 Breaks Cover For The First Time

During the Oscar awards, Cadillac decided to reward the gearheads who were watching the ceremony: during a 60 second ad, we were able to see the first blurry shot of the Cadillac CT6, which will take its place as Cadillac's flagship.

The very short moment where we could actually see the car didn't give much away; we caught a glimpse of the large grille emblazoned with the Cadillac logo, a wide body, huge wheels and new headlights that seem to feature a light bar going down the bumper.

According to rumours, we can expect the CT6 to be powered by a selection of V6 engines and an all-new V8 powerplant developed specifically for this application.

That is about all we know so far. We can't wait to see the final version of this car, which should go up against the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7 Series and Audi A8 in the luxury sedan segment.

The official launch is scheduled for March 31st, and we will see the vehicle in the flesh at the New York Auto Show.
