Infiniti QX30 Concept At The New York Auto Show

Infiniti chose the Big Apple to show us its QX30 Concept, which had already been unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show. It served as a reminder to us North Americans that the brand is about to bring out a new compact luxury SUV next year. Set to go toe-to-toe with the Audi Q3, BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA, and Lexus NX, the production-ready QX30 should logically keep the aggressive look of the QX30 Concept. The drivetrain will consist of a turbocharged 2-litre and a seven-speed automatic gearbox.

Comparisons with the Mercedes-Benz GLA will be inevitable, since the Q30 and QX30 from Infiniti will share their engines, transmissions and chassis with the Germanic crossover thanks to a partnership between Daimler and Renault-Nissan.
