Tires in this category are designed especially for roads and trails covered in mud, dirt or gravel. These tires offer a lot of off-road capability but can also be used on-road. Note, however, that they are very noisy and offer limited traction on paved surfaces.

Their aggressive design features several independent and spaced out blocks, with deep treads for maximum traction in all directions. Note that these tires are not approved for winter driving in Quebec by virtue of Bill 42.
