Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce Roadster - First Images
Only a few weeks ago, Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann announced that a convertible version of the ludicrously fast Aventador LP750-4 Superveloce (SV, if you want to keep it short) would be produced. Photographer Jordan Shiraki took a few beautiful shots of this new car, which is shaping up to be one of the fastest convertibles of the decade.
Apart from the fact that the car has no top, it’s pretty much identical to the coupe. It is powered by the same 6.5 litre V12 pumping out 739 horsepower, and should probably get to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds on its way to a top speed of 350 km/h.

The roadster weighs only 50 kilos more than the coupe, which is impressive when you take into account the fact that the chassis had to be strengthened when the roof came off. The removable cover for the cabin is made of carbon fibre and weighs just 5.9 kilos.
The SV Roadster will be even more rare than the ‘’regular’’ Superveloce. While 600 units of the coupe will be built (and they are all sold, by the way), only 100 convertibles will roll out of the factory. If you missed your chance to get an SV the first time around, here's your opportunity.
