Volkswagen Will Add Two SUVs To Its Lineup
In an interview with Australian journalists, Volkswagen’s director for that section of the globe, John White, revealed some interesting information. In the next few years, we can expect not one, but two new SUVs in the brand’s lineup.
The first will be a vehicle that will slot in under the Tiguan and could look like the Taigun concept unveiled at the Sao Paulo in 2012. It would be a direct to the competitor to the Jeep Renegade, Fiat 500X and Honda HR-V in the subcompact SUV category.

The second crossover will sit just above the Tiguan and under the Touareg. This newcomer would share similarities with the CrossBlue Coupe concept and would be targeted to those looking for a stylish vehicle instead of an off-road 4x4 machine.
Of course, we will have to wait and see when (or even if!) these new vehicles will be shown in production guise, but it’s nice to see that Volkswagen has plans to expand their lineup. We just hope that Volkswagen brings these vehicles here!
