Another Mazda Crossover: Meet The KOERU Concept
Mazda just unleashed a new concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Meet the KOERU, a midsize SUV that wears the KODO design language.
The vehicle features a large chromed grille that extends over the headlights (and looks like large eyebrows), a flowing roofline and dual exhausts placed high into the rear bumper. The vehicle is 4.6 metres long, 1.9 metres wide and 1.5 metres high.

The manufacturer goes on to say that the KOERU embodies Mazda’s on-going quest to deliver pure driving pleasure; it features 21-inch wheels and will probably seat 5 people because of its size.
Speaking of size, I can’t help but wonder what Mazda has in mind with this SUV: it’s clearly a teaser for an upcoming production vehicle, but it’s too large to be a direct replacement for the CX-5. It’s also too small to be a new CX-9…
Could this be a resurrection of the CX-7?
