Pricing For The 2016 Subaru Impreza

Typically, when a model doesn't change in a given year, its manufacturer tries to make it more appealing by either lowering the entry price or by adding additional standard equipment.

That's what happened with the 2016 Subaru Impreza; while it didn't receive a new engine or revised styling (although it was somewhat modernized last year), it is now more tempting than ever for those looking for an all-wheel-drive sedan (or a 5-door).

The base model still starts at $19,995 for the sedan and $20,895 for the 5-door. For that price, you get a 2-litre four-cylinder engine developing 148 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque. For 2015, a new colour is available, Dark Blue Metallic. You can optionally replace the 5-speed manual with a CVT gearbox for $1,300.

On the Limited grade, the infotainment system has been upgraded; it's still offered with a 7-inch screen, but now incorporates Siri integration for Apple iPhone users.  The Impreza Limited sedan sells for $26,995, while the 5-door is offered at $27,895.
