Subaru Will Unveil A New Impreza Concept In Los Angeles

During the upcoming Los Angeles Auto Show, Subaru will show us a taste of its future by unveiling the new generation of its most popular compact, the Impreza.

The brand already showed us a concept of the next Impreza at the Tokyo Motor Show, so what will be different for the North American show?

The concept that will be shown is the Impreza sedan, not a 5-door. We know that our US cousins prefer to have a trunk that is separated from their interior (that’s not the case here, but since our sales numbers are but an insignificant percentage of North American sales, we don’t really get a say in the matter).

We will have to wait until November 19th to see the Impreza Sedan Concept, and while we don’t know anything about the car yet, we suspect that it will share its front end with the concept shown in Tokyo. The back end however, will be a surprise.

Regardless of the body style, the next Impreza Sedan will make use of the GDP platform, which will eventually be found underpinning most of Subaru’s cars and crossovers.
