Fiat Announces Pricing for the 2017 124 Spider
There is a new Fiat scheduled to arrive on our shores this summer. It’s the 2017 Fiat 124 Spider, and we now know how much it will cost in Canada.
To celebrate the return of the roadster, Fiat is launching the 124 Spider Prima Edizione Lusso. Only 124 units will be produced, and it will retail for $42,190. This top-of-the-line version includes navigation, LED headlights, a nine-speaker Bose sound system, backup sensors and a blind spot monitor as standard. Every single one of them will be painted bronze.
Three versions are offered under the Prima Edizione Lusso: the Classica, the Lusso and the Abarth.
The Classica will be the less expensive of the bunch, starting at $33,495 for a six-speed manual version. If you want an automatic, be prepared to pay $34,900.
If you want more amenities, go for the Lusso. You get heated leather seats in either black or brown as well as a dashboard covered in the same material. The manual version is $36,495, while the automatic stands at $37,900.
Finally, the Fiat 124 Spider Abarth is the one for performance enthusiasts. It starts at $37,995 with the manual gearbox and $39,490 with the automatic (although why would you get one of those?). It features a drive mode selector, sport seats, a quad exhaust outlets and a limited-slip differential. Said seats are made by Recaro and the brakes are provided by Brembo. However, the engine pushes out 165 horsepower, same as in the other versions.
