A More Affordable Tesla Model X: Here is the 60D

Tesla just launched a more affordable version of its new SUV, the Model X. From now on, buyers that want to drive around in one of the Californian automaker's SUVs without spending the $106,000 for the 75D model can now opt for the 60D, which is on sale for "only" $93,300.

For that price, you still get all-wheel drive, a 60-kWh battery, an estimated range of 321 km as well as a 0-100 km/h time of around 6.2 seconds. Furthermore, if you realize you need more range later on, you can choose to have your battery swapped for a 75-kWh unit.

Among the options are six- or seven-passenger seating arrangements ($4,200 and $5,600, respectively), both requiring an air suspension setup ($3,500). Customers can also add a semi-autonomous driving system ($3,500) or a Premium package which adds ventilated seats and adaptive headlights ($6,400).

If you order your Tesla Model X 60D right now, you should get it before the end of September.
