John Snow Drives the New Infiniti Q60

Sport luxury Coupes are not as uncommon as one might think. Nearly all of the main players in the posh car categories has one, including Infiniti.

The Q60 has returned but this time it has a far more distinct personality over the Q50 sedan with which it shares many components. This approach will certainly help the Q60 get noticed however, in the event that specs and sheetmetal aren’t enough, Infiniti’s gone and hired Kit Harrington of “Game of Thrones” fame to help attract more attention to the car.

We see Kit, aka Jon Snow, walk up to the car and drive off. As he does so, he begins reciting William Blake’s poem “The Tyger” over the course of the one-minute video. One can’t help but be drawn into his words as the scenery turns to a blur. Perhaps the sophistication and powerfully controlled drama of the moment are what Infiniti wants us to take away from it all.

The new Infiniti Q60 was unveiled at the 2016 edition of the NAIAS in Detroit. Beneath the curvaceous body will be one of two engines developing three power levels. The base version will sport a turbocharged 208 horsepower 2.0L 4-cylinder while the others will share a twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6. Mid-range models will have to deal with 300 horsepower while the Red Sport, seen in the video, will be blessed will all of 400 horsepower.
