Here is the 2017 Honda Civic Hatchback
Even though we saw a prototype version in Geneva (which, let’s face it, was pretty much production-ready), the Honda Civic Hatchback hasn’t yet been officially unveiled. We knew it was due soon, but we had yet to see it in the flesh.
After a few spy shots were leaked on the internet, Honda decided to release pictures and information on the 2017 Civic Hatchback.

This is the first time since 1991 that Honda offers a four-door hatchback Civic.
In the Civic Hatchback, the only available engine will be the turbocharged 1.5-litre four-cylinder. In the LX, EX and EX-L versions, it develops 174 horsepower and 162 pound-feet of torque. The Sport and Sport Touring models get a high-flow centre exhaust which cranks up the horsepower rating to 180. Regardless of the model, buyers can get either an automatic CVT gearbox or a six-speed manual.
Since the main reason to buy a hatchback is interior space, the Civic Hatchback proudly boasts a total interior volume of 3480 litres.
On the list of options, there is the Honda Sensing safety suite, heated seats, remote start as well as the latest generation of Honda’s infotainment system, which includes Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
