Here is the 2017 Nissan Rogue

The year 2017 will bring some changes to Nissan’s popular little SUV, the Rogue.

For example, the Rogue’s visual style is different thanks to a new front end, a different front bumper with integrated fog lights and a grille that looks closer to Nissan’s V-Motion design theme. The taillights are also all-new, and the SUV will get redesigned 17- or 19-inch wheels depending on the versions.

Inside, the vehicle gets a bunch of little tweaks here and there. The trims are different, as are the seat material, the steering wheel—which is also heated—and the sport shift knob.

The biggest news is the arrival of a hybrid version. Combining a 30-kW motor and a 2.0-litre four-cylinder gasoline engine, the little SUV can record a consumption number of about 6.9 litres per 100 km. There is also an all-wheel drive version that will obviously sip a little more fuel. Nissan announces that the interior space of the Rogue Hybrid isn’t compromised by the batteries. Now, we just need to see if the Rogue Hybrid will be sold in Canada…
