2017 Jeep Renegade Deserthawk: Unique Style, Off-road Capable

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles officially presented a new variation of its Jeep Renegade small SUV at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The Deserthawk borrows its styling from the Renegade Trailhawk, but proposes its own distinctive appearance and unique elements. Aside from four paint colours—white, black, gray and beige—this version also offers black 17-inch alloy wheels, hood and rear side section decals, rock rails and a trailer tow package. Inside, the 2017 Jeep Renegade Deserthawk includes black leather upholstery with contrast stitching as well as floor and cargo area mats.

Like the Trailhawk, the Deserthawk edition is equipped with a 2.4-litre, four-cylinder engine that develops 180 horsepower, a nine-speed automatic transmission as well as a four-wheel drive system with crawl ratio and Rock mode.

The limited-edition 2017 Jeep Renegade Trailhawk will be on sale in Canada at an MSRP of $35,040 before freight and delivery charges, or about $2,500 more than the Trailhawk version.
