2017 Honda Civic Si Now on Sale in Canada

It has finally arrived! The all-new 2017 Honda Civic Si coupe and sedan are now on sale in Canada. The suggested retail prices start at $28,490 for the sedan and $28,890 for the coupe, freight and delivery charges not included.

Revealed last month, this dynamic duo represents the sportiest and boldest choices in the Honda Civic model range, at least until the raging Civic Type R arrives. The Si is motivated by a turbocharged, 1.5-litre four-cylinder engine that develops 205 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque, connected to a six-speed manual gearbox.

Thanks to a weight reduction of a few kilograms, a stiffer structure, a tuned chassis, a sport suspension, larger tires and a lowered centre of gravity, the 2017 Honda Civic Si promises enhanced stability in tighter curves.

Completing the cars’ sporty appearance are bigger air intakes, LED lighting, 18-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels, a chromed central exhaust outlet as well as a bigger rear spoiler.

The cockpit welcomes its occupants with exclusive sport seats with red contrast stitching and embroidered Si logos, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, a leather-wrapped and aluminum-trimmed shift knob, red TFT instrumentation, a carbon-finish instrument panel and alloy sport pedals.

The 2017 Honda Civic Si’s features also include dual-zone climate control, an electronic parking brake, an infotainment system with seven-inch screen as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration as well as a 450-watt, 10-speaker sound system.
