Canadian Premiere: 2019 Porsche Cayenne Redefines Sport in SUV

Published on January 17, 2018 in Montreal by Alain Morin

The 2019 Porsche Cayenne is making its Canadian premiere in Montreal. The third generation of this midsize SUV is keeping the same overall lines as its predecessor. There are three available engines, at least for the first few months on the market. First, there’s a 340-horsepower, turbocharged 3.0L V6. The Cayenne S gets a 440-horsepower twin-turbo V6, while the Turbo (which is the top-of-the-line version for now) has a twin-turbo, 4.0L V8 that produces no less than 550 horsepower. The new Cayenne uses more aluminum than before and Porsche’s engineers went the extra mile to offer very sophisticated driving aid systems.
