2020 Kia Telluride Presented at the Toronto Auto Show
Kia has a new midsize, three-row SUV ready for action, and it’s making its Canadian premiere at the Toronto Auto Show.
Equipped with a 3.8-litre V6 that develops 291 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drivetrain, the Telluride boasts a towing capacity of up to 5,000 pounds (2,268 kg).

With seating for seven or eight passengers, depending on the chosen trim level, the 2020 Kia Telluride’s cabin is dressed in upscale materials, with available double-stitched and quilted Nappa leather upholstery as well as simulated brushed metal and matte-finish wood accenting.
Other available features include heated and ventilated front and second-row seats, a heated steering wheel, an infotainment system with 10.25-inch touchscreen, a 10-speaker Harman/Kardon sound system, wireless phone charging, a 360-degree camera system and up to six USB ports spread across all three rows.
Obviously, advanced safety aids such adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning with autonomous emergency braking and pedestrian detection, high beam assist, lane departure warning and lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring with rear cross traffic alert and driver attention warning are all offered as well.
Pricing for the Canadian market has yet to be announced, but the 2020 Kia Telluride—set to rival the Ford Explorer, the Toyota Highlander, the Dodge Durango, the Hyundai Palisade, the Chevrolet Traverse, the Subaru Ascent and the Nissan Pathfinder, among others—will go on sale very soon.
