Electric MINI to be Revealed on July 9
If you like the latest and greatest from the auto industry, you should know that there will be at least two major vehicle debuts next month.
One of them, of course, is the eighth-generation, mid-engined Chevrolet Corvette on July 18. The other is the fully electric MINI Cooper S E, set to be revealed on July 9 for the 2020 model year.

Largely inspired by the MINI Electric Concept from the 2017 Frankfurt Auto show, and based on the Cooper S hatchback, the latter has already been spotted in pre-production form on public roads.
It appears that styling will be quite similar, which is really cool (fingers crossed for those awesome wheels!). We know that the electric motor will be derived from the 181-horsepower BMW i3s, but will the available range be on par with modern EVs? That remains to be seen.
In any case, expect zippy performance from the zero-emission MINI Cooper S E. We will give you all the details and pictures in less than three weeks.
