Mustang Mach-E: The Things You Can do With no Engine Under the Hood
Sunday’s Super Bowl LIV was yet another opportunity to gather with friends, party hard, play some games and enjoy a big feast before, during and after a football classic.
Speaking of which, if you love tailgate parties, Ford has one cool idea to get you ready for the next few seasons.

As you know, the all-new 2021 Mustang Mach-E electric crossover was unveiled several weeks ago and you can already pre-order a copy.
In the absence of a combustion engine, Ford designers have fitted a 136-litre plastic trunk under the hood. You don’t need to bring a large cooler to the stadium; just fill the compartment with ice to keep your beverages, veggies and dips cold. You can even create a giant shrimp platter.
If you’re more the hot and spicy type, forget about ice and use the front trunk (or “frunk”) to serve chicken wings instead. Ford says it can hold more than 1,000 regular-sized wings. When the party is over, simply open the drain cap and hose down the area.
Of course, there are many other things you can do with that frunk. And for larger items, the regular trunk in the back has a cargo capacity of 821 litres—more than double that of the Mustang.
The first deliveries of the 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E (MSRP from $50,495) are scheduled for late 2020.
