2021 Cadillac CT4 and CT5 Get Techier and More Refined
Barely a year after hitting the market, the new Cadillac CT4 and CT5 sedans are getting a significant technological update for 2021.
The most important addition, of course, is the Super Cruise semi-autonomous driving system. Now featuring automatic lane change on demand, it will be available on the CT4 and CT5 Premium Luxury and V-Series trims early next year.

While relaxing behind the wheel on the highway, you’ll have more time to appreciate the new 12-inch, high-definition gauge cluster in front of you. It’s reconfigurable, too, so you can decide which information you want to see and where.
If you need to use the various infotainment functions, you should know that Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration is now wireless. There’s also a new available rotary infotainment knob on the centre console if you don’t want to use the touchscreen.
Safety content on the 2021 Cadillac CT4 and CT5 is expanded with the new standard Buckle to Drive feature. If the seat belt is not buckled when the car starts and Buckle to Drive is turned on, this feature will prevent the shifter from leaving Park for up to 20 seconds, or until the driver’s seat belt is buckled. Parents will appreciate that for their teenagers.
What else? Well, another key addition is the new Diamond Sky special edition that will be offered from early 2021. This one stands out with a new Diamond Sky Metallic exterior, body-coloured rocker extensions and rear diffuser, plus a luxury design front grille with exclusive bright accents and surrounds. There are unique wheels and Brembo performance front brakes, as well.
Inside, the special edition boasts Sky Cool Gray/Jet Black leather seating with exclusive Diamond Fall custom seat insert perforation, new aluminum (CT4) or wood (CT5) finishes and alloy pedals.
Cadillac says material selection is improved in the sporty CT4-V and CT5-V including upgraded Modena leather on the performance steering wheel and carbon fibre instead of aluminum on the centre console. Two new exterior colours–Infrared Tintcoat and Rift Metallic (a greyish white)–replace the outgoing Red Obsession Tintcoat and Royal Spice Metallic.
Pricing for the 2021 Cadillac CT4 and CT5 will be announced closer to their arrival at dealerships this fall.
