Dodge Brings Back Gold Rush Challenger for 2021

Published on December 4, 2020 in News by Guillaume Rivard

One of the cool things about the Dodge Challenger—beyond the muscle and performance, of course—is the ability for customers to choose from a wide selection of colours. Great news: for 2021, the brand has decided to bring back the Gold Rush option first introduced last year on the 50th Anniversary Limited Edition.

Availability is expanded, too. So, if you’re considering a Challenger Scat Pack, Scat Pack 392, SRT Hellcat or SRT Hellcat Redeye, you can have the stunning golden yellow paint. Incidentally, SRT models in Gold Rush require the hand-painted Satin Black hood, roof and decklid.
In addition to Gold Rush, several heritage-inspired paint colours can be specified including Frostbite, Hellraisin, Sinamon Stick, TorRed, F8 Green and Go Mango.

There are other notable options on the 2021 Dodge Challenger, mind you. R/T Scat Pack Shaker and Scat Pack 392 models are now available with the Widebody Package, while 20-inch wheels now come standard on the GT AWD (available on SXT AWD). Also, SRT branding appears on the high-performance Brembo brakes used by the SRT Hellcat and SRT Hellcat Redeye (available on Scat Pack).

Let’s not forget the introduction of the new Challenger Super Stock, an 807-horsepower rocket that accelerates from 0-96 km/h in just 3.25 seconds and completes the quarter-mile run in 10.5 seconds. It’s almost as powerful and explosive as the wicked SRT Demon was, and just like the latter it rides on sticky 315/40R18 Nitto NT05R drag radials.

Dealer orders for the 2021 Dodge Challenger are now accepted. Deliveries are scheduled to begin early next year.
