Fisker Ocean Deliveries in Canada About to Start at Last
It’s been a very long while since the Fisker Ocean has made headlines. Introduced in production form at the 2021 Los Angeles Auto Show, this cool electric crossover began pre-orders in Canada in July of 2022 and entered production in November at Magna-Steyr’s factory in Graz, Austria.
Deliveries were supposed to start in June of this year, but various delays changed the company’s plans. As a matter of fact, Fisker expects to complete homologation with Transport Canada by September 7. It estimates most deliveries of the launch-edition Ocean One (579 km of range) will be finalized by the end of September.

“We have strong reservations and a solid bank of orders for the Fisker Ocean in Canada,” Chairman and CEO Henrik Fisker said. “We have always planned to reach customers throughout North American and are excited to be completing that strategy. And we are especially grateful for the patience of our future Canadian owners as we have ramped up our business in 2023.”
The company has confirmed that the Vancouver and Toronto areas are leading in customer interest. Fisker will offer pop-up test drive events in those two cities in September, with more events to follow through the fall.
What’s more, Fisker intends to establish retail and service locations in both Vancouver and Toronto, as well as Fisker-certified collision-repair centres. It also plans to provide comprehensive sales and service support in Canada, including mobile service with Fisker-trained technicians, and consumer financing through Scotiabank, Fisker’s nominated retail financing partner.
As a reminder, the Fisker Ocean is available in four trim levels with pricing as follows (MSRP):
- Sport - $43,999
- Ultra - $63,999
- Extreme - $89,999
- One - $89,999
The base Ocean will be eligible to a $5,000 EV rebate from the federal government in addition to provincial incentives where applicable.
