New Supercharger Kit Cranks Ford Mustang GT Up to 800+ Horsepower

Ford seems to be obsessed with taking its pony car to 800 horsepower and beyond. First, there was the 2025 Mustang GTD unveiled in August. Now, with the SEMA Show in Las Vegas kicking off today, the automaker is announcing a new supercharger kit that cranks the new Mustang GT up to “at least 800 horsepower.”

A Dark Horse-specific supercharger kit will follow in the near future.

Available through Ford Performance beginning in 2024, the kit includes a 3.0-litre Whipple twin-screw supercharger, dual intercooler technology, oversized heat exchanger, high-flow, dual-beam fuel injectors, 92mm throttle body, 120mm dual air intake system, dual high-flow filters and more. A Tomahawk V2 flash tool with data logging capacity is also part of the mix.

For now, there’s no indication the supercharger kit will be offered in Canada. Ditto for the Mustang FP800S package, also shown at SEMA, which adds a Ford Performance half-shaft upgrade kit and a street lowering kit. Options include a Borla Extreme cat-back exhaust with quad 5.0-inch tips and carbon fibre aero elements.

Ford’s SEMA display this year goes beyond the Mustang, of course. Specially prepared Bronco and Ranger models with a focus on off-road performance are another highlight, along with Bronco and Bronco Sport models showing a number of customization parts and accessories.
