Ford is Slapping Huge Discounts on 2023 Mustang Mach-E
The 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E is not on sale yet, but for those who don’t mind settling for a 2023 model, great news: the company is announcing huge discounts.
That’s right. Following significant price cuts last year, Ford is back at it. Why? Simply because sales are not where they should be. In 2023, just over 5,000 units were sold in Canada, a drop of 17 percent from the previous year that resulted in the Mustang Mach-E falling behind the Hyundai IONIQ 5.

We feel really sorry for all those customers who purchased a Mustang Mach-E in recent months, let alone before that. Not only did they had to spend more money, but they now find themselves with lower resale values.
However, for new customers, these latest cuts are fantastic. They also make more models eligible to federal and provincial incentives. In Quebec, for instance, Mustang Mach-E models equipped with the extended-range battery (98.8 kWh) now get $7,000 off since their MSRPs are below the maximum of $65,000. The only exception remains the GT Performance Edition.
All models now qualify for the $5,000 rebate from the Canadian government, including the aforementioned GT Performance Edition since it costs under $70,000. Choosing this model is suddenly $18,000 cheaper. Amazing.
It will be interesting to see Ford’s pricing strategy for the 2024 models arriving in dealerships later this year. And we’re curious about the impact on sales, too.
